Getting Started

Your Workspace

Understanding the layout, navigation and settings of the Nia LP Reporting Platform.

The main layout

Once signed in you see a navigation sidebar on the left and the main content area on the right. Your fund's name sits at the top of the sidebar; if you have access to more than one fund, use it to switch.

Mission Control

Mission Control is your fund's landing screen. It answers one question in a glance: where is my reporting cycle, and what needs me right now?

It shows the active reporting period, a to-do feed derived from the real state of the cycle — open periods, missing submissions, items awaiting sign-off, unreviewed drafts, failed automatic runs — plus what is outstanding and recent activity in your workspace.

The to-do list is derived from what is actually true in the platform, not from a list anyone maintains by hand. If it says an investee is outstanding, that investee is genuinely outstanding.

The sidebar

Navigation follows the order you work in:

GroupItems
HomeMission Control, KPI Explorer, Nia Advisor
Set-upLPs & Templates, KPI Dictionary, KPI Mapping
DataData Quality Check, Investees, GP Data
ESG ManagementPolicy Hub, Investment Process, ESAP Tracker
OutputReports, LP Portal Fill-In Sheet

What you see depends on your plan and on what Nia has enabled for your fund. Items that are on the roadmap but not yet available appear greyed out under Coming soon, and Investment Process is shown as a permanent placeholder — it has no page behind it. See Plans & tiers.

Settings

Your fund's settings live under Settings in the sidebar:

PageWhat it covers
GeneralFund profile — legal name, description, logo — and the reporting period
MembersInvite colleagues, set their roles, remove members, transfer ownership
KnowledgeThe processing status of your uploaded documents, with a retry for failures
WhatsAppAdmin-only. Manage the numbers allowed to reach the Advisor over WhatsApp, and test the channel before it goes live
BillingYour current plan

Your own account settings — profile, password, security and notification preferences — are reached from your avatar in the top-right corner.

Managing team members

To invite a colleague, go to Settings → Members and enter their email address. They receive an invitation link and can sign in independently once they accept.

Roles within a fund are member, administrator and owner. Sensitive actions — approving submissions, changing the reporting period, managing members — are restricted to administrators and owners.

The owner can hand ownership to another member from Settings → Members (Transfer ownership). A fund can never be left without an owner as a result.

Next step

Head to LP Reporting, the Advisor or the Policy Hub.
